The antique MacRae pipes were examined and measured by McCallum Bagpipes in order to craft an instrument with the sound Stuart desires.
This MacRae reproduction practice chanter is made with an African Blackwood bottom and plastic top with imitation ivory sole. There is an option of thistle engraved alloy ferrule, imitation ivory ferrule or beaded alloy ferrule.
